About Me

Hi, Well Ive been in Spain for nearly sixteen months now and still enjoying it, I have just had my friend over from England for a week and we have had a great time. The weather has been kind to us, just right at this time of the year. I have met lots of good people both young and older since I have been here, also people of many nationalities which is great. I think this is a good site for people to network and to share information about the various activities that take place. This has been dificult in the past as information is hard to find. I have found some shopping difficult as its not easy to find some simply things if you dont know where to look for them.. I have been a nurse for many years back in the UK and do miss my mates back home so anyone who would like to contact me please feel free. I like to go to good restraurants, sightseeing finding new places to visit, love to hunt for a bargain on the markets, walking on the paseo and trying to get a little more active with a little paddle tennis when I can.
Im glad to see the site is doing so well and Hi to all the people I have made friends with through the site.

	zoizoi 30-05-2008 Went to Zozoi last night had an excellent meal I have to say, the only drawback was the very long wait in between courses, we were told there is a 25min wait time which is accaptable but we were still waiting 45mins later! The waitress was very good at filling our wine glasses up and of course we ended up buying and drinking much more wine than we should have! but the food was very good, The menu was very extensive, with some interesting choices. It was busy so if you want to go for a special occasion I would recommend you book well in advance.
	Los Bandidos 01-03-2008 I have to speak as I find, i did not find this place great, in fact the service was very poor, I think there may have been a few regulars in there, I felt we were very left to fend for ourselves ie .serving ourselves with the wine (it was a special ocasion and the wine was expensive to say the least!!) To be honest I felt very neglected, food was good although there wasnt alot, and although the food was explained by the waitress on the menu it didnt really look as expected on the plate.
	Restaurante Toni Dalli 20-02-2008 Havent been here for some time but I remember the food and the entertainment was very good. The staff were very friendly and efficient and as Bernice says Im sure this is a very good place to go for a group celebration of any sort.
	Restaurant Girasol 09-02-2008 I have been to Girasol several times, I have always found it excellent, also impressed with the very friendly and capable staff. The restaurant does get busy in the summer so its best to book especially if you want to sit on the lovely terrace.
