The philosophy of La Taberna del Pintxo is to offer the best selection of cold and warm pintxos of the highest quality. Among the promoters of this project there is a chef, with ample professional experience in the Costa del Sol, who is in charge of creating new presentations that guarantee to both regulars and occasional visitors the constant appeal of the menu, hence the reason why La Taberna del Pintxo has made a strong appearance on the tapas scene in the Costa del Sol. Indeed, it has turned into a landmark in those places where the company has started business, such as Marbella.

The world of La Taberna del Pintxo revolves around a wide-ranging menu containing the specialities of the brand, such as the warm pintxos, cold pintxos, stews, homemade deserts and a wide selection of wines.

In essence, the cuisine offered at La Taberna del Pintxo may be described as a fusion between the cuisines of the north and south of Spain. The pintxos, either cold or warm ones, are prepared daily, using the finest ingredients. Cold pintxos are displayed along the counter, while warm ones are carried by waiters and cordially offered to the customers.

With a view to updating the menu, the persons in charge of La Taberna del Pintxo visit different places in Spain in order to collect information on new gastronomic trends. Likewise, those responsible for kitchen duties in each restaurant attend gastronomic conferences to back up their knowledge.

	Humpy 21-02-2008 Fantastic place, have to go at least once whenever i visit Marbella. My tip is to go for lunch at about 14.00 and to allow you to sample as many tapas as your appetite can allow do not to eat the bread that some of them come on,this leaves room for many others. The chocolate al horno is a must if you are looking for a dish to share as a pud.
	love2swim 08-02-2008 Save some room in your belly after eating La Taberna's amazing tapas and try the warm chocolate cake afterward.... some of the best choc. cake I've ever tasted, and I'd consider myself pretty experienced in chocolate cake eating =-)

I have to admit, as a smoker, I was NOT impressed when they made the whole inside non-smoking... which is why I rarely go there now in the winter (even though they do have the heaters outside, with the wind blowing down the street at gale forces, it's still not idea) this place has fantastic food, and the staff are always very friendly. I can recommend this place for any 1st time to Spain visitors, as the vast majority of the tapas are easy-eating, and nothing too 'funky'... not to mention, you can have 'just one' (if you dare). For anyone that doesn't know, you pay by what you eat, the tootpicks are counted (so don't be throwing them on the sidewalk) and the type of toothpick defines the price.. e.g. the plastic swords (e.g. for deep fried camembert) are pricier than the standard toothpicks...
	ani 06-02-2008 This is the ONLY tapas bar I have ever found where I can get decent vegetarian tapas. Love it.
	Christian 06-02-2008 Taberna Del Pintxo is a firm favourite of mine. It's a great place for informal dining as you don't have to order, the food is brought around to the tables by the waiters and waitresses so you pick and choose the 'Pintxo's' (Small Tapas Dishes) that you like. The prices are really reasonable and the range of drinks is vast. It is best to go after 8pm when the best Pintxo's really start to come round regularly. The Puerto Banus restaurant is really well located near El Corte Ingles but the Marbella branch tends to feel a little more traditional with tables spilling out into the street.
